Saint Sappho are a Glasgow-based queer music duo, made up of Zoe Young and Tammy Dyson. Drawing inspiration from 90s Britpop and Trip-hop, their sound reflects the influence of artists such as The Verve, Travis, and Moby.
Beyond performing, Zoe brings her expertise as a sound engineer while Tammy’s skills as a videographer allow the pair to craft every aspect of their music and visuals in-house. They are currently working on their debut album, Between The Lines, scheduled for release in 2026.
Previously signed to Optimo Music, their label manager boldly declared, “I really believe when this album gets out it has the possibility to change everything.”
Their momentum continues to surge, from supporting legendary guitarist Bernard Butler to securing BBC Track of the Week multiple times and being awarded Creative Scotland funding behind their debut album. Saint Sappho’s impact is already resonating across the cultural landscape, with features in i-D, Northern Exposure, and other leading publications, alongside consistent five-star reviews for their transcendent tracks.
